Fulham Foward Aleksandar Mitrovic has received an eight match ban from the English FA for his mosconduct towards the referee in the 3 -1 loss to Manchester United in the FA cup Quarter finals.
Mitrovic was charged with grabbing the Referee Chris Kavanagh in reaction to red cards shown to his team mate Willian and manager Marco Silva.
The initial red card would have seen him miss three matches but after the violent conduct towards the official was investigated it attracted another 6 games ban.
Mitrovic admitted that his behaviour was improper, abusive, insulting and threatening after he was shown the red card and that led to the regulatory commission to slap him with an addition 2 match ban and addition 75,000 Euros fine.
Mitrovic said that he used the International break to reflect on his behaviour and has personally apologised to referee Chriss Kavanagh.
The star has already served one match ban in Fulhams loss to Bournemouth and that means that he still has seven matches remaining. That will mean that he will come back with 2 games remaining to the end of the season.
In addition to that,Mitrovic manager Marco Silva has also been served with a two match touchline ban and 20,000 euros fine.He also admitted to the use of abusive language and improper gestures towards the referee and fourth match official.
Just like Mitrovic,Silva has publicity and personally appologised to Chris Kavanagh.
Fulham were leading by a goal to nothing against Manchester united before a VAR review showed that Willian had cleared Sanchos shot from the line with his hands. The action led to his dismissal and aftermath of two redcards for behaviour of his teammate and manager.
Bruno Fernades converted from the penalty spot before Marcel Sabtzer made it two against managerless and nine men Fulham.
Bruno Fernades would later on grab his brace and Uniteds third goal to put the last nail on the coffin.
