Renowned kenyan poet Mufasa Poet has sparked concern among Netizens after posting a picture of his swollen and severely injured face, following a collision where the car he was in collided with a trailer.
Mufasa posted four images on his Instagram handle where the initial picture displayed his swollen face, which was marked with distinct traces of fresh blood despite being wrapped in a surgical bandage bandage.
The celebrated poet accompanied the photos with the caption “grateful to God for the gift of life” hinting that the accident was grisly and could have ended up taking his life.
In the final picture of the four-picture Instagram slide, the poet is seen distressingly sited on a hospital bed with a throng of doctors in blue aprons encircling his bed.
Though Mufasa never shared much in the form of words, the pictures spoke volumes with the second slide of his badly wrecked vehicle, sandwiched behind a blue trailer, sending the message that the accident was daring and could have easily taken away his dear life.
While the car model was probably a Suzuki alto or a Passo as seen in the shared images, questions abound on whether their was another occupant in the vehicle, probably a driver, given the prominence of such car models in the Uber business.
Nonetheless, celebrities and devoted fans camped on his comment section on the highly populated meta platform wishing him quick recovery and with some fans hinting at the immense loss the creative industry would have suffered, given Mufasa’s outstanding storytelling techniques.
