- Ezekiel offered to pay KSh 14.6 million donation, which elicited hot reactions online, as some questioned his motive
New Life Prayer Centre and Church founder Pastor Ezekiel Odero has offered KSh 14.6 million to help clear pending costs accrued during the recent Benny Hinn’s mega crusade.
In a viral video showing what transpired on the last day, the American televangelist was trying to raise funds to help ease pressure from the organisers. While addressing congregants, one of the local pastors took the microphone in a bid to stop him because Ezekiel had offered to help.
“Apostle Ezekiel has said the man of God should be left to pray for the anointing for Kenya. He is ]going to postpone his programme tomorrow, and he is sending in 100,000 dollars (KSh 14.6 million).”
Hinn, who men of God now surrounded, said:
“God bless that man of God. I did not want to go home back to the United States knowing that this man (another local preacher), and the committee have a burden. I wanted to make sure that the burden is lifted. Because I have really fallen in love all over again with the people of Kenya. I just wanted to be a blessing and let me just finish praying for them and we can dismiss.”

Ezekiel confirms going to Hinn’s crusade
The Kilifi-based preacher confirmed that he will be attending the anticipated mega crusade by Benny Hinn.
While talking to some members of his church, asked Kenyans to respect ministers of God who have since been considered pioneers.
He also permitted his church members to attend the service and encouraged them not to think they were wasting time by going to the mega crusade.
