Arsenal Make a Double Premier Sweep as Saka and Mikel Arteta Named Premier League Player and Manager of the Month Respectively

Bukayo Saka Wins the Award for the first time.

Arsenal football club had a stellar month winning all four matches played in the month of March.As a result of their success Mikel Arteta and Bukayo Saka have been named as the English premier league Manager and Player of the month.

Saka Acquires the accolade for the first time in his young Arsenal carrier and becomes the 22nd different Arsenal Player to win the tittle which is the most of any team in the premier leagues history.
Saka scored three goals and provided 2 assists in the 4 appearances.He scored against Everton and also provided an assist.His stellar performance was again on show as Arsenal cruised past Crystal Palace in a thrilling match that saw him score twice as well as set up another goal.

Bukayo Saka Wins the Award for the first time.


The result against Crystal Palace saw him become Arsenals youngest player to reach double figures in terms of Goals and Assists breaking a record that was previously held by Cesc Fabregas.
He is the second Arsenal Player to scoop the award after Martin Odegaard did it in November/December.Marcus Rashford is the previous holder of the award having won it twice since the start of the new year. Saka beats Newcastle’s Aleksandar Isak, Brighton’s Alexis MacAllister,Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah,Tyrone Mings Of Aston Villa and teammate Leandro Trossard.
Meanwhile Mikel Arteta was named as the Premier League manager of the month.It is the fourth time the Spaniard claims the award which is one less than record five which is held by Jurgen Klopp.
Arteta led his team to an all win month of March which included a much deserved comeback against Bournemouth Afc.Arsenal found themselves trialling within 10 seconds and were two goals down by the hour mark. Arteta introduced Reiss Nelson who set up the second goal before slotting home the winner in injury time.
The win is Arteta 6th since joining Arsenal.He beat fellow Spaniards Pep Guardiolla,Unai Emery,as well as Roberto De Zerbi of Brighton.
Arsenal currently sit 8 points ahead of 2nd placed Manchester City.
