Chelsea Fc is back to winning ways after edging Bournemouth 3 goals to 1 away on Saturday evening to climb back to 11th place and surpass the mythical forty points.
The relegation rule states that the three least performing teams in the premier league get to be relegated while the three most successful teams in the championship get to be promoted in to the premier league. Most coaches and players however believe that it is hard for a team to be relegated after attaining at least 40 points.

There are however few teams that have been relegated even after attaining the 40 points mark in a season that all teams seem to perform well. In accordance to the myth Chelsea needed only one point to propel them out of the threat.
Frank Lampard took over as interim manager to help Chelsea finish the league on a higher note but has failed to leave to the expectations losing his first six matches in charge and thus losing out on the one point for more than a month.
