Citizen TV presenter Trevor Ombija has launched a new state-of-the-art club dubbed Choma Choma Lounge in Kisii town.
The newly inaugurated multimillion club was launched yesterday in a vibrant and grand ceremony witnessed by notable political figures and celebrities among them, Winnie Odinga and radio presenter Fred Machokaa.
This extraordinary establishment deviates from the usually sleepy state of bars in Kisii, offering a unique bar and restaurant experience characterized by rows of impeccably arranged woven mat chairs that exude an atmosphere of luxury.
The club, whose Facebook page has already hit 1.3k followers, is a modern and luxurious bar with a cool ambiance, enhanced by crafty décor of hanging fresh plants and neat luxurious blue leather sofa sets, in spacious areas where people can even reserve tables prior.
On the pictures and videos that have surfaced on Facebook, waiters and waitresses dressed in blue and black are seen moving from table to table serving all sorts of expensive liquor to the throng of revellers, even as alcohol brands like Gordon’s scampered for booth spaces to advertise their liquor, in the new facility that promises huge prospects for brands like theirs.
As per the inscription on the club’s outer banner, they plan to provide an extensive array of services, including far and near cuisines and outside catering services indicating the macabre scale of the new venture.
Ombija is one of the media personalities in Kenya who have so far managed to combine their journalism career and business.
