Poor and hungry people leaving with HIV in Turkana County are stopping taking Anti-retroviral drugs ARVs a situation that official warn is a major blow to the disease.
One of them Eric from California Village on the outskirts of Lodwar Town, said he has been living with the Virus for nine years but the access to food has been a huge challenge due to poverty.
He said being poor and leaving near Lodwar town has been a disadvantage because “no one will coe to your house to give you relief food, unlike in remote villages where it is a common excercise.”
