The case is being handled by ruling Magistrate Wilson Rading in Kiambu Law courts. However in another twist that might affect the case is that Wilson Rading has been transferred to Naivasha law courts but is still in charge of providing a ruling.
According to the ruling Magistrate Rading, the ruling of the case is not ready as he is still waiting for the case file to return from milimani courts. The same was the case when the prosecutors and the defendant’s lawyers appeared in court for the ruling on 22nd February.
Mwendwa is facing charges of stealing sh 38 million from the FKF body. The case had initially been dropped by Milimani Anti-corruption Chief Magistrate Eunice Nyuttu. DPP then filed a fresh case in what he terms because of light to new evidence.
The defendant lawyers believe their client is innocent and plead Rading to dismiss the case for failing to reach the threshold.
The prosecutors have four main charges against Nick Mwendwa according to the star. The charges filed are
1. Stealing sh 2,500,000 on May 15th, 2021.
2. Stealing sh 5 million on March 4th, 2021.
3. Stealing sh 1 Million on May 6th, 2021.
4. Conspiring to defraud FKF of sh 29,502,709 jointly with others.

The prosecutors also provided bank statements from four different banks in Kenya as well as approved FKF budget for three years.
The two parties also have their patience on trial but will be hoping for a verdict come end of the month.
Nick Mwendwa remains FKF president even with the case still in court.
