Kenyan gospel DJ Sammy Muraya aka DJ Mo has come out to explain why he did not attend Akothee’s wedding together with his wife Size 8.
On Tuesday, April 11, 2023, DJ Mo sought to clear the air on whether they had been invited or not and why they never showed up.
According to Muraya, they received an invitation to the wedding ceremony but unfortunately, they were out of town at the time the wedding was happening.
Watu was maswali tu. Yes, we were also invited… but we were not around…came back late,” DJ MO explained.
The couple was among the notable figures that missed Akothee’s wedding.
Others who were also not at the wedding include socialite Vera Sidika, Wahu, Carol Radull, Maina Kageni, Guardian Angel, Esther Musila, KRG the Don, Risper Faith, and Mwalimu Churchill.
On her part, singer Wahu said;
“Here’s wishing you all God’s blessings as you begin this beautiful journey together. I feel bad for not being able to attend as my little boss Miss Shi isn’t well.
With you in spirit, and cheering you on as you start your forever journey together! Here’s to Mr & Mrs. Omosh!.
Taking to her socials, Radull expressed her apologies for not being to attend before going ahead to congratulate the couple.
“Bummed I was unable to attend but with you in spirit my friend. Happy Birthday and Congrats on your wedding day my dear. I wish you a Blessed marriage.”
