Actress and content creator Jackie Matubia has lauded herself for being the sole provider to her young girls while saying that the year hasn’t been an easy one for her.
The mother of two, disclosed that that her most poignant moment revolves around witnessing her children’s growth and the personal fulfillment of being able to provide for them.
Jackie, who was absent from Terence Creative and Milly Chebby’s Wash Wash Four, opened up with heartfelt sentiments about her children and life when bloggers caught up with her on Crazy Kennar’s show titled ”Happy Country”
In response to a segment of those inquiring about her most emotional moment of the year, Matubia clarified that her emotional peak was a daily experience. She elaborated, expressing that she couldn’t help but get emotional every time she laid eyes on her daughters.
The actress conveyed that seeing herself independently provide a roof over her daughters’ heads and ensuring they had food always stirred up a whirlwind of emotions within her
Known as “Jolene” to many due to her role in Tahidi High, she disclosed that whenever she arrived home, she would inevitably wander through her daughters’ bedrooms, still astounded by the extent of what she had achieved independently.
”Kuna hii kitu everytime Im from work and I go home and I have to go through my daughter’s rooms and look at them and just be grateful. Everytime Im grateful that mimi nimeachieve kupatia hao watoi a roof and food, those are things we really take for granted coz the whole day umeshinda ukicomplain, video yangu haijapata likes, oog picha yangu but the little things get me so emotional.”She revealed.
Touching the surface without delving into details, the actress mentioned she had a challenging year but expressed pride in her ability to succeed despite the chaos.
”Again as I said everything I have gone through this year I dont know like everynight, everyday Im so emotional when I see my kids.Im so proud of myself.” she added.
