Orengo has told Uhuru not be intimidated by anyone because his main pension is the goodwill of the Kenyan people who still love him.

He told the former President to stay put and continue with his political activities uninterrupted because he has the support of the Kenyan people.

Kenyan citizens will give you your pension, leave alone Ruto’s. Do not be shaken, stand firm,” he said.

The Siaya governor, who spoke during a meeting with members of Maendeleo Ya Wanawake Organization at the County headquarters asked President Ruto to leave Uhuru alone, arguing that he should find ways of solving the problems that are affecting this country instead of engaging in petty witch hunt.

Orengo says that instead of blaming Uhuru Kenyatta’s regime on every problem that is affecting this country, Ruto should only find solution to those problems.

He is blaming cost of living on Uhuru Kenyatta, what has he (Ruto) done? Let him leave Uhuru alone.”

On the ongoing bipartisan talks, the governor asked Azimio leader Raila Odinga to call for the resumption of the countrywide demonstrations if the bipartisan team shall fail to address their grievances.

He stated that since demonstrations is the language that President Ruto hears most, they will have no otherwise but to return to the swamp.

“If they keep meddling in our parties like they have done to Jubilee, we leave them alone. If they refuse to reduce Unga prices we leave them alone. If you say we go back to the streets we will,” he said.
