Kenyans have disapproved  a lately famous habit by celebrities to flaunt club payment receipts that total to huge amounts of money as a way of teasing their followers, amid a drought and hunger crisis that continues to kill people on a daily basis.

The latest victim of the backlash being Big ting AP, brother to fast-rising rap artist Trio Mio, Kenyans have showed concern that in the middle of a humanitarian crisis like this, their genuinely wasn’t any dignity in showing off a 366 thousand club bill when, it was evident that life had become so unbearable for most people.

Big ting was celebrating his birthday alongside a few close friends when the bill for the refreshments they were taking totaled to the amount, far beyond a quarter million.

In response to the backlash he said people were just being envious and they should just remain hopeful that they will also be able to spend such fortune on a single night someday.

However Kenyans took their stand pointing that the habit had recently become famous and was now a way of finding clout. They affirmed that truly, the habit wasn’t fashionable and the real clout would possibly have been through donation or charity to the drought-stricken communities in northern Kenya. “Spending thousands in a club is never a flex. People need to understand the importance of investing wisely. They might say sisi tuna wivu but they can donate that money to those dying of hunger. As a human being with a conscience, you should silently enjoy that in a club or give it to those who are starving  ” One Kenyan said.
