Kigen Moi, son of KANU party leader Gideon Moi has wedded.
He got married to his fiancee Rebecca Chepchumba at a private ceremony in Kericho County on Saturday.
Moi took to Twitter to congratulate Kigen and wished him and his wife God’s guidance and blessings.
Former Baringo Senator and Kanu party leader Gideon Moi has heaped praise on his wife Zahra Moi for instilling good morals in their son, Kigen Moi.
Kigen wedded the love of his life Rebecca Chepchumba in a private ceremony that was attended by key political figures.
In a mesage to his wife Zahra, The Kanu party leader thanked her for ensuring the engagement of their son was successful.
“I celebrate my dear wife Zahra Moi for being the pillar of our family. She is beautiful, compassionate, kind and devoted in everything she does,” Gideon wrote on Facebook.
“I commend her for the exemplary effort in ensuring that our son Kigen Moi’s engagement ceremony was successful.”
While congratulating his son on the wedding, Gideon wished him and his wife God’s guidance and blessings.
“I am proud of my son Kigen Moi for making a monumental stride in this life by seeking Rebecca Chepchumba’s hand in marriage. Indeed, this engagement is a beautiful social and spiritual venture ordained by God to ensure companionship and continuity,” Gideon said.
“As they begin formalising their union today in Kericho County, I pray that God’s grace, guidance and blessings be always upon them.”
The marriage ceremony was attended by former Energy CS Charles Keter and former NMS boss, Lieutenant General Mohamed Badi.
