The Formula one circus will take place on Sunday in Melbourne Australia where it has been all through this weekend.It has turned out to rather interesting to Mercedes fans and the whole team in general as the team produced unexpected result which could probably be season saving.
Mercedes will have both Driviers on the front Row of the Grid
George Russel and his British team mate and Seven times World Champion Lewis Hamilton finished P2 and P3 on Qualifying in Australia.The pair finished behind Championship leader and two times World Champion Max Verstappen.
Despite not finishing on pole Mercedes will be happy with the result after having a difficult start to the season after a more disappointing 2022 season.
The silver Arrows will be hoping this form continues as they continue to put in numerous engineering corrections in order to catch up with their rival competitors and current defending Champions Red-bull.
The result comes at at a time when Lewis Hamilton future with Mercedes is still unknown. His contract comes to an end at the end of the season and has been linked with a move to either Red bull or Ferrari but he insists he is not ready to ditch the team.
Mercedes team Principle Toto Wollf was had saying,’we are coming back again’ to Lewis via Radio after Lewis finished his qualification third quickest.
RedBull’s Max Verstappen will be on pole for the first time in Australian Grand Prix but the competition might be intense than expected.
George Russel and Lewis Hamilton Will be Second and third respectively for Mercedes.
Fernando Alonso will start fourth on the grid for Aston Martin while Carlos Sainz will start 5th for Ferrari.Sergio Perez will start at the back of the Grid after A DNF in Melbourne.
