No Halaand No Problem:City Puts Four Past Liverpool As Battle For First Intensifies.

Liverpool in a past match against Manchester City.

The Premier resumed this evening after a long break of international matches.
Manchester City were 8 points adrift league leaders Arsenal having played a game less before the break. The welcome back of the premier league was curtain raised by City hosting Liverpool to equal the tally of games played on a Saturday early Kick off.
Manchester City would however be without leathal services of Erling Halaand but that turned out to be an issue of little concern as the host comfortably put goals past Liverpool in Erihad stadium.
Halaand has been the key man this season for Manchester City but had to be dropped due a groin injury picked with Norwich.
Manchester Citys manager Pep Guardiola needed to hatch up a perfect plan and he did just that by giving Argentine worldcup winner and reserve strike Julian Alvarez the nod.
City would however find it a little bit difficult to execute the plan after Mohammed Salah put the visitors up in the 17th minute courtesy of Diogo Jota assist.

Manchester city would pick up things from where they left with citys Algerian winger setting up Kevin De Bruyne for the second goal just 1 minute into the half. The goal means that Kevin has now registered 100 premier league goals in his name.

Liverpool fail again to stop the cityzens from working a quick attack and this time they caught in the wrong foot by Ikay Gundogan.England international Trent Arnold half clears a cross from Alvarez but only as far as Gundogan who slots it past Allison to make it three.
100 million pounds Jack Grealish plays a one two with De Bruyne and opens up City defence brilliantly to squeeze in a fourth on the 74th minute which tops up the evening for the hosts.
