Pastor Kanyari lectured one of her church members over her unkempt cornrows hairstyle and gave her Ksh 500 to go and do a full hair makeover.
Kanyari told off the lady who had risen to the dais to be prayed for and to receive anointing during one of his revival sermons, by telling her that she looked unpresentable.
The lady who all the while played humble under the presence of the man of God, said she was a devoted member of Kanyaris’ church since December last year and pleaded with the pastor to spare her.
Kanyari who was hitting the congregant with question after another said some of his church members unpresentable ways of dressing like the young ladies unkempt hair, were bringing shame to him.
Attempting to defend herself, the lady explained she had funds for a hair makeover, having styled it neatly before. However, this time, she chose to allocate the money to her children’s upkeep in light of the challenging economic conditions
Kanyari thereafter gifted her Ksh 500 and said that he won’t even pester her further over her disorderly hair because he was blessing her with the money shortly before he placed his annointing hand on her making her to fall down.
