Robert Firmino is set to leave Liverpool football club when his contract runs out at the end of the current season.The news came as a shock to all Liverpool fans as Firmino was due to sign a new contract that would extend his stay at the club for at least another year.

The 31 Year old Brazilian star is said to have broken the news of his departure personally to manager Jurgen Klopp after Fridays training session ahead of a major clash with Manchester United.
The Brazilian believes it is his best time to pursue new challenges and thanks the management and the fans for all their support.
Robert Firmino was part of the formidable three at Liverpool which included former teammate Sadio Mane and current
teammate Mohamed Salah. He was signed by former Liverpool boss Brendan Rogers from Hoffenheim in 2015 but has been key to current manager Jurgen Klopp in his search for glory in Europe.
Despite costing the Merseyside team a sum of 29 million Euros,Bobby,as he was nicknamed ,will be leaving for free.His departure further illustrates the rebuild Klopp is trying to put up after his team poor performance across all competitions this season though he was confident of landing the signature of the star for another season.
Across the eight years stay in Merseyside,Firmino has won numerous accolades for the club and with the club.Some of this include UEFA Champions league which he won after playing in three finals of the competition. He also has the UEFA super cup which followed the UEFA champions league cup.
Firmino’s accolades do not end there as he has also scooped the Fifa Club World Cup in which he scored the winner.Having played in England it would be awkward for him to miss out on domestic cups.In his tenure with Liverpool he has attained the Carabao cup as well as the English FA cup.
Firmino currently has 9 goals to his name despite luck of playing time.
Roberts next destination is yet to be known but one thing is certain,he wont luck suitors.
