Netizens ain’t holding back and have shaded a mzungu TikToker commenting with ‘which country is this’ on almost every TikTok clip.
The whole thing kicked off a few weeks back when the mzungu guy began dropping these remarks, triggering a flurry of responses from netizens who initially believed he genuinely didn’t know the country the creators were originally from.
At first netizens went all out and were seen debating where certain creators were originally from as they attempted to assist the man in identifying their countries. But soon enough, they realized the comments were spiraling out of control and losing the semblance of sense.
Now, the netizens have come at him with insults and clapbacks and asked him to quit the app if he won’t cease on the deafening comments.
A Nigerian TikToker using the handle @Ola127 angrily asked the man to shut up, while a Kenyan TikToker using the handle @mainaken advised him to look for a job and keep away from the app.

Another section of netizens however have taken advantage of the popularity of the man’s comments and changed their profile pictures to his in bid to utilize the man’s fame to gain followers and go viral on the app.
Kenyan TikToker Does Research, Unveils Identity of Mzungu Behind viral Comments
A Kenyan TikToker by the username @r2junior has made a video explaining the origin of the comment ‘which country is this’ that is topping charts on the popular video-sharing app.
The TikToker claimed the phrase originated from a US based man Peter Sutherland, whose daughter disappeared while on vacation in an unknown country.
In 2019, the daughter who used to share updates to her dad in the form of videos went mute and since then, the father who was in a different country begun a quest to search for her on the internet and would comment with ‘which country is this’ on videos in bid to find her.
The TikToker who said he did thorough research and investigation on the genesis of the viral comment, said the father Peter Sutherland later on died, leaving behind a trove of comments on different creators videos that are now coming of age and becoming a sensation.
