Three American Philanthropists missionaries have perished in a tragic accident near Ewaso-Nyiro airstrip on the Narok-Maasai Mara Reserve road.
The three Missionaries were heading to Naroosura when the car they were driving had a head on collision with a trailer which led to their death.
The missionaries were working with Child Refuge Centre International and were also running community-based health projects in Naroosura.
According to a police report from the County Commissioners’ office, two of the three were 61 and one 33 years old.
”We as the community have been left in shock as to has just happened today. They have been a great reliance source for the less fortunate in our society,” a Narok resident stated.
”The family has been funding us for almost 36 years now. They have been having many successful projects and so far I can say they have been holding 90% of our community’s finance,” the resident continued.
The bodies of the deceased were flown to Nairobi.
