The second Champions League semi final saw Ac Milan host their bitter rivals Inter Milan in San Siro on Wednesday night.
The two teams have a bitter relationship and it is one of the most watched and most famous derbies in football history. The teams have met a few times this season but the most important match up between the pair this season is the Champions League Semi final.

Ac Milan had a rough start as the visitors went ahead in the eight minute from a corner which was beautifully turned in by Edwin Dzeko. The former Manchester City and As Roma managed to break free from the defender and connected with the ball with a first time touch volley.
Things would go from bad to worse for Ac Milan as Henrik Mikityrian scored a second just three minutes later after a beautifully crafted move. The goal put Inter well in the driving seat and boosted third confidence as they attempted to score a third but rammed it on the post.
The second half was much better for Ac Milan as they manged to create a few chances but were unfortunate not to get a goal. Tonali came closest in the 63rd minute but only managed to ram the post.
Ac Milan were without the services of their high Scoring forward Rafael Leao and the experienced Zlatan Ibrahamovic who watched from the stands.
The Last 20 or so minutes would be played evenly as Milan tried to get back in the game while Inter continued in persuit for a third while still holding the opponents.
In the end is it Inter Milan eho walked away with the advantage ahead of next weeks reverse fixture also to played in San Siro.
The winner of this fixture will face either Real Madrid or Manchester City in the final but it is hard to call who will win the reverse fixture in Manchester after the two teams helad each other to a one all draw yesterday.
