UK-based Kenyan creator Shonarwa has arrived in Kenya and revealed she booked a flight from London travelling all the way to satisfy her craving of boarding a matatu.
Shonarwa revealed she first saw the calligraphed matatus being praised on TikTok when she recalled that it was nearly a decade before she boarded one, prompting her to book a flight and come to Kenya.
The outspoken creator who recently told off women who fear asking their men for money said she did not think twice about the decision as she had already salivated at the matatus and shared live updates of her journey from London to Nairobi on Instagram.
She said that it was after bidding her husband goodbye at the airport in London that she contemplated whether it was worth flying from such a far place to Kenya, to relish a culture she had once relinquished.

Shonarwa revealed having tried to shoot a travel vlog and document her journey for her once-thriving YouTube channel but failed upon realizing that YouTube wasn’t as fulfilling to her right now, as it was back then.
Shonarwa, who later flaunted the magical Kenya signage that is usually at Jomo Kenyatta airport, revealed arriving in the country and went on to ask fans to suggest the route with the best matatus so she can opt to explore its nganya’s.

In an undated video, Shon Arwa was heard warning netizens against going back to their exes while saying that those exes will never change their toxic ways.
“That toxic man that you keep on giving excuses for when we tell you to leave, will not change. He will not change. Thank you,” she said.
The outspoken Kenyan content creator has always advised Kenyans on things relationships, but the video caught fire on the internet because of her beef with her ex-best friend Nairofey.
In September last year, Shon returned to Kenya, and in an interview with Mungai Eve told Nairofey that she thinks reuniting with her husband Yeforian was not a good thing.
She warned that he was back in her life to ‘finish her. Nairofey and Yeforian slammed Shon while Kenyans were once again treated to their feud. The two have not been on speaking terms since Shon relocated to the UK.
Shon and Nairofey have been on an on-and-off type of friendship that their fans are always caught up in. Back in March this year, Shon asked Kenyans not to demand answers because she was tired of it all.
