A university student wouldn’t be making headlines if a Ksh 10 he used to place a four games multibet in popular gaming site Play2net never yielded a whooping Ksh 213k.
The student who had luck on his side however got all four games right in the NBA betting category and took home the elusive quarter million that the betting firm had dangled for gamblers.
The man who spoke to the media said he had strived for years to win big on Play2net until his recent play.
He said he had only 10 shillings in his mpesa before retiring to bed when he opted to deposit it and place a multibet on the NBA category.
The elated student said he placed the bet and retired to bed without expectations of such a staggering win, before waking up to find three out of the four bets had played out successfully. Only one remained.
However favor was with the young comrade and by 10 in the morning all the four bets had played put successfully to his luck.
“I have been predicting for a long time but I have not won anything considerable, I had never got a call like this. ” he said.
The student is among gamblers who won good monies from betting firms a span of weeks apart.
A KSh 27m Sportpesa jackpot was won in November by Thika town-based businessman Esbon Maina, who owns a hardware shop after rightly predicting all 13 matches on the midweek jackpot to win over KSh 27 million.
