Ugandan socialite Zari the Boss Lady has shifted her stance, asserting that a video circulating on social media depicting her appearing older with makeup in Kenya was manipulated by clout-thirsty vloggers.
While watching the clip where she had confronted her sons and instructed them to leave her home, Zari commented that she appeared older in the edited video due to the makeup she was wearing at that time.
The man beside her, watching the video together, chimed in, stating that she typically looks better without makeup. He even insisted that in the video, her neck and cheekbones seemed thicker, contributing to the perception of her looking older.
Zari, affirming her enduring beauty, stated that vloggers in their 20s and 30s were focusing on her, intrigued by how a celebrity in her 40s could appear so youthful and stunning.
“Editing ur videos to satisfy your empty souls doesn’t change my realty. Phew I’m gorgeous. And it’s always the 20s and 30s pressed about a 40 year old. Hehe mwe muloza pple don’t see me in real to know nti ndi mulungi live. Just did a press conference. All videos released were media videos Eyakusinze, abaakusinze!!! Facts!!” she captioned the video in her Instagram story.
Majority of netizens however thought she was trying too hard to conceal her aging while others supported her saying she was still beautiful and with no distinction from a 20 year old girl.
